External Services

This plugin connects to the external Reimage API to provide image optimization services.

Reimage is a cloud-based image optimization service, similar to platforms like Cloudinary. It reduces the file size of images without compromising quality, improving website performance.

When the Reimage Optimizer plugin is installed on a WordPress site:

• The user must create an account at https://app.reimage.dev/
• After account creation, the user can generate an API key from their Reimage dashboard.
• The API key is then added in the plugin settings to connect the WordPress site to Reimage.
• Once connected, the plugin sends images and the site’s domain to the external API at https://api.reimage.dev for optimization and receives back optimized versions.
