Do I need a ChatNode account to use this plugin?: Yes, you need to create an account on ChatNode.ai to generate your chatbot and retrieve the bot ID for embedding.
Where can I get my Chatbot ID?: Log in to your ChatNode dashboard and copy it from the “Settings” tab of your bot.
Will this plugin slow down my website?: No. The chatbot script is loaded asynchronously from ChatNode’s servers, so it won’t block or delay the rest of your website from loading.
Can I customize the appearance of the chatbot?: Customization options are handled through your ChatNode dashboard. You can change colors, avatar, welcome message, and more from there.
Does the plugin support shortcode or block editor?: Currently, this plugin automatically embeds the chatbot site-wide. Future updates may add shortcode and block support for more flexibility.
Is there a way to disable the chatbot on certain pages?: Not at the moment, but we are working on adding conditional display options in future versions.
How do I update the bot if I make changes in ChatNode?: Any changes made in your ChatNode dashboard are automatically reflected on your website. There’s no need to update anything in WordPress.
